xr 80 beat a 250ex! lol I know its sad.

my 250ex lost to an xr 80 numerous times and he just thinks my quad is plain slower than it. I keep on telling him that his xr 80 has a clutch its lighter and it has less wid resistence. And thn all he says is that they are all excuses, just because I lost,and now a few of the ppl that ride around me are ragging on me that I suck at riding and whatnot, and I know I am a better rider than him, plus he kinda cuts me off every time. When I go down a hill almost pinned in 5th I blast by him so easily, its like a led weight verses a picec of paper, but of course its the weight that makes it go faster but still, he braggs about it and now its getting on my nerves!

I need to come up with a better way to tell him why i don't beat him that will make him not be able to come up with a better reply. I get him off the start every time and whe we start getiing up to speed he creeps by. I even lower my head so I get less wind resistance.

yes, I know this is stupid and kinda pointless but I need him outta my hair.


I know you ppl are really gonna make fun of me and so on but i need s serious answer. But w/e you can make fun of me! If it gets too bad i'm deleting it. But I really want just sroius answers that are about the topic.

i just wanna smack stupid kids like you sometime. Just punch him in the face , and then relize that your riding a 250ex and hes riding an 80 , neither are that fast . Is that a 2 stroke? Because the 250 will beat an xr 100 which is a 4 stroke.

start out in second gear and just keep the gas on switch gears right too

Really thats not hard to believe, my cousin has an xr80 and we ride side by side down the road and my 300 isnt much faster than his 80. And I know I can ride right we were both 5 gear...I just pulled away a little bit...soo its really not that hard to believe

ok i was talking to you but I thought you meant your 250x, but idk...you may have beat him but that 80 kept up with me pretty good and I even had 20's on at that time, didnt even have my 18's on

Well, that comes as a surprise to me, as I have beaten a CRF100 and edged out an older model XR200 by a half quad length consistently, both in a high traction situation (pavement). I am certain the margain would have been greater if it were in wet grass or other less than ideal situations.

Despite that, the 250EX is still mighty slow, so it doesnt really matter. I may be switching over for a part time venture in the dirtbike world aboard a YZ85 if things work out as planned. Dirt bikes are kinda fun when you get used to them and dont get in over your head. I rode a YZ125 about 3 weeks back and laid it over going around 45-50 and shattered my foot, and now I'm kinda paying the price.

Back on topic, I would just like to mention that I while I feel sorry for you for losing to such a dirt bike, I also question your masculinity for losing.:D

I'm not trying to be mean, but I dont think you beat an xr 200 even if it was an older model...was it just a drag for a short distance or a long run race...cuz if it was a long run i dont think you beat him...short distance prolly but it would have to be short ...again im not trying to be mean

Ya, i can believe it. Does he now know youre 250ex has got a good 200+ pounds on his frickin bike? Tell him to race you on a track, then see how cocky he is. Your quad does have more wind resistance, and doesn't have a clutch like his does, like you said. If he doesn't see that as an advantage to him, he needs to go to motorized toy school. Tell him i said he needs to shut the hell up, and i've got the size to back it up. :p lol

And lol, he's on a bike. If he starts inching by you, just swerve over at him, and knock his @$$ over! :p

youll probablly be losin to alot of stuff now that your 250 has 20 inch tires on the back. your pulling like 42-45 mph with the 20s on it so thats the problem.

arent you the kid that claims to be able to beat a 300ex and multiple 400+ cc utilities? if you cant beat an 80 then no way on the other quads.

I definately would but if I did and knocked him off and he got hurt I would be in trouble beacuse his dad is a state trooper and the sargent. They are soo rich that they have a three door garage there house is humungus and there house it soo big they have those boxes that are on the outside of their house that you could talk into it.

i think that kid that raced that 80 cc quad doesnt dont know how to ride cause my little brother thats 9 has a 2002 250 with only a kn and jet kit and it does about 52
