Which Bumper??? I have the DC bumper and its not heavy at all!:)

There gonna have some degree of weight if they are gonna do there job though;)

i have the iron cross bumper and its not heavy at all i was suprised when i got it .

not like its going to make your quad slow if its an extra pound more than other bumpers. most aftermarket ones are heavier than stock

i heard the cross one blocks airflow to your radiator giving you higher engine temps....i would stay awayfrom that one if you ride woods

For a bumper they have some weight to them. They are stout though. I've landed directly on it, never bent or cracked.

Actually, the screen on it helps keep roost mud out of your radiator. So you actually run cooler. ;)

Haha, I can relate. The only problems I came away with was some bruises and a scuffed bumper. Definitely holds up very well. The Iron Cross does have some weight, but not anymore than most out there. I was thinking on switching to the new Natalie design, but still in black. :devil:
