Does or has any 1 used this for there side cases. i was in a hurry to get my R put back together so i used this on my tranny cover. is there any thing wrong with doing that?

Any excess that gets squeezed inside ends up all through the trany, clutches and bearings.

service honda should...
a thin layer of gasket maker is o.k. try an avoid getting it on the inside, make sure u let it set up good b4 filling the cases with oil, do a oil change after u ride it once too to help flush any lil pieces, then u should b good to go.

I learned a great deal from my father (as any son should). I think he said it best when I was about 15.
He said "I used to use Liquid Gasket makers all the time, until it dawned on my that I was fixing my car more and more often..."
Now, by "tranny cover", I hope you mean your clutch cover or stator cover, something easy to remove and reapply. If you used a RTV for your actual case halves, you deserve every oil leak you get.

I think he means clutch cover.
