Has anyone put 05' plastics on a 99-04 400ex? If so were any mods needed?

also the 450 plastic I have one of my buddies willing to sell me his 450r plastic and I dont know if I can fit it on my 2000 400ex does anyone know if it will fit or not??

no i know for sure that 450r plastics wont work because the 400ex has side panels and the 450r has an exposed gas tank.

How'd it fit on your 03? did you have to do any riggin or was it a bolt on? did you just not get the lights with it or did you just want those headlights?

everthing fit perfect , i didnt buy the stock light it was about 250- 300 dollars so i bought automotive projectors for 40 dollars and it worked very well.

alright so If I bought my buddies 450r plastic It would fit perfectly on my 400ex? that'd be tight if it does

the 450r palstic does not come close to fitting, you have to buy the 05 and newer 400ex plastic to fit the 04 and older 400ex. but maier makes a real nice set of plastic front and rear with optional hoods for the 400ex, just buy the 05 and newer 400ex and it will work.

alright thats tobad my buddie was willing to sell me his 450r plastic cheap to me so I guess il have to look around for some 05 400ex plastic
