Well i took off the head for kicks and there was no head gasket... I think this may have caused the only idling and not revving at all and shooting flames. Do you guys think so?

did u actually take off the head ? or just the rockerbox/valve cover ? Alot of machines just run some kind of silicone or gasket maker for the top cover gasket. But I seriously doubt you not having a headgasket because you have to have clearance between the piston and the valves ! And it would never seal off without one. Sounds like u just had jetting problems

poping and shooting flames out the exhaust is caused by a leak in the intake or exhaust, or by most commonly by the pilot jet being off. if there was no head gasket then i dont think you would have the piston to valve clearance needed. most likely you have a jetting problem. be more specific about what the bike is doing and i could help you more.

Wow that sucks, who knows what else is wrong with it! ..... could this be....karma?!?!?

It's $20 for a thin cometic head gasket from C&D. Did you run it at all like this? You might have had valve-piston hitting if you did, doubtful, but possible.
