synthetic oil?

well its time for an oil change in my 450r. i was going to go synthetic, but i saw a quart at a local place and it was $11/qt. is that right? or was i loking at the wrong stuff? what should i be buying? i want synthetic, but $30 for oil is kinda steep when you change it as often as i do

it sounds like moble1 truck and suv is a good choice. i dont know anything about oils so i try to read as much as possiable.
remember no moly in the trans side.

ya thats what i was wondering also. can i run regular 10w30 car synthetic oil?

i believe the 450 has seperate places for oil and transmission right, so car ouil would be ok to use you dont hav to worry about the friction modifiers
