Has anyone owned a ESR 310? I have never owned any ESR products, so I am looking for owner reports for this cylinder kit. Also, any problems with fit and finish, problems, and bottom end failure due to increased strain? Thanks

i got a used one an sent it to be reported, my engine builder said it wasnt by anymeens the best port job hed ever seen.

also i had some fitment problems with the silencer on a trx-5 pipe and 86 style frame.... nuthing a dremel couldnt fix though.

i had a fresh bottom end and havent had problems yet...

I have one of their 310 kits with the TRX7 port job. I also have their intake, Mikuni TMX carb, CR ignition, and TRX6 pipe. They also "freshened up" the bottom end when I got the 310. Haven't had any problems with the motor at all. I did have some fit problems with the TRX6 pipe on my Arens frame, but I think that was more of a frame issue. Like beerock mentioned, the port job has a bit of a lightswitch feel to it.

Thanks for all the input. I didn't know about there porting but I suspected a pipe fitment problem with my Laeger chasis.

I have a esr 330 and the porting is poor. nthing is same, you can look and see that the two sides are ported different, its almost like 2 different people did the porting.
