Lt 50 Leaking fuel

I just got a used '02 Suzuki LT-A50. It is a two stroke. I noticed that when it just sits and idles it leaks fuel from a tube (looks like a drain tube) attached to the carb. Is this normal? Is it just unburnt fuel leaking out of the carb? Any info would be greatly appreciated.

The carb is durty and the float bowl is sticking.
I would take apart the carb and give it good cleaning.

make sure that the petcock is all the way in the on position and not partially turned to prime.
