This is the second cable I've melted through. How is it supposed to be run? I run it through the inside only because it's not long enough to go outside. Now that I haven't used my ex in months the cable is almost frozen from all lubrication leaking out. Anyone send me some pics of how its run?

by bending the cable guide we were not able to get the cable around the header. we had to use a zip tie and then we had zero problems.

Just buy a heat deflecting metal sleeve to go over your cable. It will deflect the heat and wont put bends in your cable, causing more resistance on the pull.

LRD head pipe has the same problem. I did like cal said, adjusted the cable brackett and used a big zip tie off the frame and no problems since.

i didnt have that problum till my cable snapped. then i neaded a new terminator cable and it berns on the header. all i did is use zip ties. now my only problum is my clutch cable snaps constintly.
