oil leak question?? [Archive]

I have developed an oil leak on the right side case cover in the rear. I have not pulled one off yet. I need advice on what to look for. I already know to look at the case to make sure it is not cracked. Anything else I am missing?? let me know!!!

That sucks, your case is cracked. Its happened to a few people a few times. Its not hard to do just costly. I had to do mine.

I have seen on here an after market case cover that is stronger. Were can I get one? Thoughts and suggestion!!!!

i had the same problem with mine. I took the skids off to find that it look like my motor had been dropped so i took mine bake to the dealer and they put a new cover on under warranty.
