(question) 05 shocks on a 04

Has anyone installed 05/06 shocks on their quad? I have an 04 z400 and have a chance at getting some 05 shocks very cheap. How much of a difference will this make compared to the current shocks?

I tested a stock 04 z 400 against an 05 z 400 back to back.The ressy shocks performed signifigantly better.I would buy them if you can get em for around 2 bills.:)
