Man was this cold water I was lucky she didn't suck any in. The oil is still fine but I will be changing it anyway. I made it through the hole fine but I got sucke off to the deep side when I backed up to help my buddy get out.

dude..... your crazy !!! theres no way I would attempt something like that this time of year. Summer time there would be like a 1% percent chance of hitting that on something as small as a 300ex. Looks like you need to invest in a big Ute :blah:

Just change your oil. I do that all of the time with my 200X 3wheeler:D

ok, as far as i can tell, he is walking in on the second pic, NOT on the bike...and i have had my bikes in water that deep before...change your oil and get ready to change your bearings in the future...try to avoid going that deep, but if you do...keep the motor running and get it out a.s.a.p.

300ex's float. I know from experience.

I went riding with a kid on a 300ex, I was on my 400. I was buried up to the exaust on the engine in watter, and mud. I had a heck of a time getting through this mud pit. but I just hammared doun in 3rd gear and powered through it. I figured there was NO way that the kid on the 300ex was going to make it through. but shure enouf he just floated across. lol, not kidding the kid must way 140 himself. but he just kept his balance and went across the top of the wicked deep puddle,, well more like pond.

I didn't try to drive through the spot that I am in in the 2nd pic. The spot I went through is on the right and is only half as deep. She didn't suck up any water so the motor is ok. However my buddy with his dirtbike hydrolocked it in this hole it tolck us over an hour to get it running again.

We had a few wobbly pops and we were going to the camp. It wasn't that bad though. The fire at the camp sure felt good along with some dry cloths.
