need cam for 400ex

i need an xr400 cam or any drop in cam for my 400ex. as long as i can us my stock rockers and stuff. anyone know where i can get one or does anyone have one they will sell?

get a tc mx grind cam.... u can use the stock rockers and springs and it gives awesome power! 205$ plus ur old cam

Ive had an XR cam in mine. Ive got a WB's cam in it now. (also a throw in cam)

Im much happier with the WB's cam. The XR cam just wouldnt push the machine at high revs.

Did you lose any low end when you went from the XR cam to the White Brother's cam? I ride trails only, and want to keep as much low end as possible...

Thats what i was thinking....everyone keeps saying about them, I know Jhalletex just got his, and we haven't heard from him about it.

With the WB's cam, I felt the low end picked up, mid range dropped a tad and top end picked up really well.


A little note for everyone. My rebuilt motor only has about three months on it and I gotta blown head gasket already. Come to find out, your suppose to use brand new head bolts everytime you rebuild your motor.........NOW they tell me!! lol

I just got my Hot Cam all dialed in (I may still have to play with jetting). I'll let you guys know how it does in a day or two (will probably go riding on Saturday). BTW, I have an xr400 cam I am selling. It's not the best cam in the world, but it is a good cam, and a big step up from stock. $80 to your door.

Good luck selling that XR Cam. I tried to sell mine a few months ago for 50 bucks or best offer. I didnt get one offer. I ended up giving it to a buddy of mine. lol
