Once i move,I'm going to be in the market for a new Tv,I dont want this Tv to be costing more then my frigging quad,i see some tvs nowadays for 5 grand:ermm:
Im looking for something under a grand which i can help my rents pay for it,and they will buy the rest of it for me for my bday/christmas.
Whats the diffrence between LCD,plasma,etc.
The absolute MAXIMUM i am going to spend is 1200 :scary:
I went and looked on google, you can find a ton a stuff about the differences.

Why spend so much if you are starting out? Walmart, Bestbuy and Circuit city has some nice 27 inch regular TV's for $250-350.

well i dont know what kind of technology you are looking for but there are many options.
i have a phillips 34" HD WS that looks pimp for movies and games. it was $1000
or you can get a good sized rear projection set for you price/ just look around.
your not gonna be able to get a decent sized quality lcd or plasma for 1200. sorry. mebbe an EDTV set, but thats pointless. if your gonna get a plasma/lcd jst get hi def.
my samsung 32"lcd was 1800. picture cant be beat, but i would want it in a room that big. its too small.
i would get a good HD rear projection if it were me. great for movies, tv games....everything. i have one in my main tv room and its great.
