jon guetter is about 6' 1" and he did a back flip on a yfz :blah:

i wouldnt know though, im only 5'10" and i dream about having that quad. Stock it is the better than the nicest 400ex you could imagine.

The YFZ is definately worth it - I have had a 440 and a raptor - and the YFZ is by far superior to either of those quads........did I say it's DEFINATELY worth it?? LOL!!

well me on my worked 426 beats stock 450's at the races, thats why im wondering if its worth it....

also i am 6'1'' and like the way the yfz sits...only thing its needs is some bars and some riser blocks.

im still throwing around the idea....but its time to do something about that idea since this idea has been in my head since the first shoot-out of the yfz in dirt wheels......

some more info/posts please to help me lean 1 way or the other

Like you said...your WORKED 426 can beat STOCK 450s...So what about a worked 450, moral of the story, go with the 450 lol

another thing, i would have to finance it because im pretty much broke...im selling my cr125 so i should have about 2500 in my hand when i go for one.....guy at my local dealer was telling me to expect to be paying about 65bucks a month with a $2500 down payment....sound right?

depends if you go with a 2 year or 5 year plan

i would personally want to do the 2 year if i could afford it, to get those payments done and off your back ASAP.

but you should prob sit on/ride both 450's before you go signin papers and handin over cash, to discover your not satisfied with it, or it doesnt fit your taste. Personally...idk how you guys survive, riding on those yfz rock hard seats....i sat on one at the dealership and i couldnt belive how hard they were.

6199 otd is real cheap, at least out here in so cal, that sounds like a o5 price. either way i think you'll love it. I'm 6'2" and i dont have a problem with it , the seat is uncomfortable after a while but what the hell you're not suppossed to sit down all the time anyway.
