Hey,Fellow Motor Heads! Quick Question

I'm doing a few little mods on my 1992 acura integra, cold air intake is on the way, I put a turbo 2 muffler on(rice can was on it when I got it) aka no more rice. So I'm working on headers and high flow cat. I want header wrap(heat wrap). My choices are stuff that withstands 1100 degrees F, and stuff that is 2-3 times expensive that withstands up to 2000 degrees. I've searched everywhere and I know 2-stroke air gets up to 1200 degrees F right out of the head. But what about 4-strokes? Thanks. Keep in mind, the header/wrap hopefully dosnt get as hot as the air inside. Let me know ASAP thanks-darren

Just make sure you get a ceramic coated header. It will cost a little more buy you will not need to heat wrap. But if you do, the cheap stuff will be fine. You have to be careful with heat wrap because they hold moisture on your exhaust and the headers will rust.
