where do i find obscure sized bolts?

i'm looking for a bolt to plug up the hot start on a 450r carb. i know it is a 12mm and i think the thread pitch is 1. i can't find anything like that in town. just wondering if anyone knows where to find things like this, otherwise i'm planning to drill and tap it for a more common size. thanks.

You could always just get it from Honda, but it will definately be more expensive than any bolt from a hardware store.

buy a lathe and make one...but yeah a honda shop is usually the only place to get a random size bolt...but some shops like lawnmower or chainsaw shops have them for a little cheaper
