Enging problems!!

I was wondering if anybody has ever had this happen. I have a 99 400EX and I was at the dunes in fourth gear opened up and it started to bog down like I was towing somebody then I stopped and it died. Then I tried to start it again and it was acting like the battery was dead. I got home and pulled the flywheel thinking it could be the oneway bearing but it wasnt. Any ideas? Let me know. Thanx

charge your battery and see if it will start and run if so. you cooked your stator and maybe the rectifier too. you can take your rectifier off and take to the dealer to have it checked out.

that could be your problem a burned up charging system.
