rev box + ign advance key=bad idea?

hey guys....
will a rev box(Magnum brand) work normally on a motor that has a +6 timing advance key installed in it, or will they clash with each other(the rev box changing timing curve and the key changing the timing as well)

thanks for whatever input you can give, im in the process of ordering them on monday.

It should be ok just as long as the box doesn't have an advanced timing. If the box offers advanced timing too, I wouldn't do it. The advanced timing key is not recommended for built motors just so you know. It will create more heat.

I still dont get why people are getting rev boxes. The motor makes all of its power before it revs out...
