i was looking at som carbon pipes like the bill ballance ones.... are there any diasadvantages of having a carbon pipe???? if not wat r da advantages??

They are lighter but I heard that they may crack if they get hit with rocks.

that is bs, i know a lot of people with carbon fiber cans and they repack the same amount as they would with a regular can

I'm not a huge fan of carbon pipes....last one I saw was a wb carbon E2 I think its called....and it wasn't even a season old and the top mount had ripped clean off of the pipe.

and not too mention the price difference. :cool:
I had the yoshi carbon system on one of my bikes this season. I really bottomed out off a jump, it hit the brake caliper and smashed, Carbon doesn't dent, it breaks.

I agree.. it would seem too brittle to me unless they use a version of carbon fiber like the hyper wheels. But, they don't. They use the brittle laminated material. Your better off with a black anodized aluminum can, in my humble opinion.
For the most part carbon fiber on atv's is nothing more than fluff (aka. bling). Unless it's hypers. I haven't seen another "true" use for it.
Nothing wrong with a little show though. ;)
