Pappy,

are only the fronts going to be on red labels? I know some people that might want some. The 10/7 front wheel, does that take the tall skinny tire like on your sons quad, or will the 18" snow hogs fit on there?

i believe some of the rears are also red labels.

yes, the fronts take the 19 inch holeshot or 19 inch razor mx

Pappy, are the snow hogs in the 18inch actually 18inche's tall?
want to get somthing as close to stock for my son's lt 80.
I have some douglas blue lable rims in 8x6 for the front and rear, should i have gotten the 10x5's for the front?

i measured a snow hog 18'' tire mounted on a rim installed on a mini and its 16 1/4

i also measured a carlisle 18x9.5 x 8 mounted and it is 17 3/4 tall.

for trails, the turf tamer would get the nod for extra clearence, but the snow hog seems to offer good all around use but as the measurements show, ground clearence will suffer.

if it were me, id be looking for the turf tamer in that size, it will be a tad shorter then the OEM LT80 tire, but more squared in design and should offer better handling without a huge sacrifice in clearence

Thanks I appreciate the information on the tires. What about the front rim

i cant give you a solid anser on the front regarding the LT80, i have been working more on kasea's, predators etc and ofcourse the trx90.

I ordered a set from Dennis Kirk, they were 19x7x8, and a perfect fit on the stock rims. I didn't get an official measurement of the height, but they were just a hair taller than the stock tires when fully inflated. I don't know what features you're looking for, but they look very close to stock.

I just looked on Dennis Kirk, and I don't see those tires listed any more. I'll get the info directly off the tire within the next couple days, I'm sure you can find them from another distributor.

I have an 05 Predator 90 and I'm interested in new rear rims and tires. I've looked at the Douglas .125 rims and Holeshot MXR4 tires. They are $165 for the set. Are the Snowhogs as good and if so, what kind of package deal for the wheel, tire set?

i recommend the snow hogs for the rear only. ive seen them run as fronts, but they are not really for that application.

snow hogs are $34 each in either size, rims are $34 each also without the rings.

what offset are the front 10x7 rims. most run a 5 inch wide rim on the front, do the 7's cause the holeshots to baloon out a lot.

mark you are correct, they are 10 x5 not 10x7, it was a typo on my part! 3-2 i believe is the offset

ill take a set. do you have the 19x6 front holeshots for a package deal. let me know how to pay you and order them.

ok, you want 1 front set of the 10x5 with reinforcing ring 4/110

paypal works, or i can take CC over the phone, money order is fine also.

bkperformance@peoplepc.com for paypal

i do not have any holeshots what so ever. rocky mount seems to kill everyone on price so i usually only stock them during racing season for people that have to have them the next day etc

Pappy, How heavy are the reinforced rims for the rear. Are they lighter then the stock Honda rim? Looking to loose some weight of the rear wheels. You do keep Honda wheels in stock right?:D

Pappy

i will try and weigh them to get you real numbers. id say they may be a tad lighter then the stock steel wheel but thats a guess.

we almost have to run them reinforced it seems:eek2:

You said the 18 snow hog was just over 16" tall, how tall is the 16" mounted up. Just bought a mini for my daughter and looking into some tires for it. It comes with 16s on it.

Pappy

im going to geuss they would be shorter then 16 seeing the 18's were not 18 when mounted

bob, all i have left is 4/100 for the polaris and kasea. i will try and order another batch in but douglas only runs the mini rims every so often that it can take a month to get a shipment in. i just did not want to hold you up
