Most of the time it was -40 when we had ours . It really sucked if you were in the middle of gym class in nothing but a t-shirt and gym shorts . The poor girls had glass cutters .

if its cold we just stay in the school and re fuse to go out side. I dont know how many times a fire drills has to be done, i dont even see the point in doing them in the winter.

When he says -40 or -50 it might be celsius, which 50 degrees below freezing.

It'd be around 0F for us, or so.

If it is celsius.

In middle school we had one during the winter and coming back inside I slipped down a flight of wet stairs(thanks to the drill)...now I usually just slip away from my class and go to the crappers when we have one...

-40 Celcius is the same as -40 Fahrenheit... Temps below -50 Fahrenheit are very common around here also .

So any negative temperature is the same in Celcius and Fahrenheit?

WUT?

5/9 (C+32)

Somethin like that and then the other way for the other.

How would they be the same?

And you gotta jump in the toilet to get wet and try and put out the fire.

No it just works out that -40 Celcius and -40 Fahrenheit are the same .

Formula to convert from Fahrenheit to Celsius: (5/9)*(deg F-32).

Formula to convert from Celsius to Fahrenheit: (1.8*deg C)+32.
