400ex ac pro peg nerfs on a 300ex?

Is this possible? What mods would you have to do to make the pro pegs work on a 300 or is it a waste of time. I know VC-ATV has a set of em specifically made for the 300 but there $250. Would it be better to try to mod it or just get the 300ex ones?

kind of expensive but the best setup is IMS pegs and AC nerfs.

I race in District 18. I go to DuQuin, IL Greenville KY, Sikeston MO, & Springfield MO, & then they have some in Sturgis KY but I don't go to those.

I've seen AC Z400 pro-pegs on a 250x before.
