Will they bolt up to a 400ex...:ermm: Front of course.

They will not. The top eye on the YFZ is way to thick to fit in the 400ex frame. I know guys who have made new shock bracket and welded them onto the frame. Or take the top eye of the shock to a machinist and take your stocker. Have him machine the YFZ to the thickness of the YFZ.

I did search and came up with a yes but you mihgt have to grind a bit on the upper mount.:ermm:

thats definite on the grinding/machining/fabbing.... why not just buy shocks for your wheeler and your weight for not much more $$$

Why do you guys always ask this>?......WE wanna try putting $200 shocks on instead of $1000 shocks.:huh

These little 400ex are NOT friggin race quads.The damn front shocks are harsh.Spend a couple bucks and get what ya want.Seems simple to me..:ermm:

Besides....it's "grinding/machining/fabbing...apparently all ya gotta do is shave some off the top.
