21" or 22" fronts?

i am getting some razr2's for the front to match my rears. i was looking at the 21" and they look so damn tiny. i guess they are only an inch shorter, but they looked way smaller.
what size do most people run, 21" or 22"?

i do xc and I have 22 up front

i like the look of the smaller tires, i.e the 20" rears look way better to me than the 22", but the fronts may cause adverse handling affects

If you trail ride go with the 22s. Go for razor 2s up front for sure though.

i run 22's and 21's...the 21's of course handle better, and the 22's offer more ground clearance, its really up to u on what u want

I run razr2 22" fronts for xc racing. I know a lot of people that run 21" front razr2's. They say the 22" razr2 are a little taller than other 22" fronts. I have never run 21" fronts because all the guys I ride with run 22" so finding a spare is never a problem. I don't know how much of a difference your will find in the 2 sizes.

not so sure the extra 1" tall tires would make or break me. the 450r already has decent height

i disagree, a lot of the top GNCC racers run 21'' tires, you can handle the bike a lot better with 21'' tires, and you only lose ground clearance at the front, which you may need on some tracks, others u may not, all i kno is the ironman traci still ran her 21'' razr2

I just started running 21 fronts and like them a lot. I was a little skeptical, but found out how many pros run them so I thought I would give it a try. I can definately tell a difference in handling.

I,m going to put 21s on mine. I do alot of trail and hill climbing so the smaller tires would be my pick.

21" razr2 fronts
20" razr rears

If your 21 and 22 are exactly one inch difference in height, you lose .5 inch of ground clearance. Check your tire dimensions in the specs, I think most 21" tires are a bit taller. Not sure about the RazrII specifically.
