450r pegs and nerfs on a 400ex

I know you can put the 450r pegs on a 400ex, and I know if you have 400ex nerf bars you will need to tweak them a little to make the 450r pegs fit, but i was wondering if you bought all 450r pegs and 450r nerfs if the 450 nerfs will fit on the ex. thanks

the mounts on the front are different
400ex nerfs wont fit a 450r and
450r nerfs wont fit a 400ex, already tried it.
Unless you want to do some mods on the mount and cut some of the tubing off of the nerfs at the front locations, I decided it wasn't worth it. so I'm selling my 400ex nerfs and buying 450r nerfs.

is it pro pegs or the motor mounts wont fit be more specific

i just put 450r pegs on my 400ex. They are about 1/2 wider on the front of the pegs. My 400ex x-factor nerfs bolted up fine with the 450r pegs. These nerfs use a cross bar that is bolted to the frame with U-bolts so there in some room to adjust them slightly on the frame. The bar is a little closer to my oil tank now but everything clears and bolts up sturdy.

they way they mount up toward the motor mounts is totaly diff i got a 450 an 400 the pegs will work on both but 450 nerfs wont fit 400 and versie visia
