Carbon Fiber

I was told it is possible to PC carbon fiber, im just curious how you would do that, do you sand the clear coat off of the hood?

I wouldnt sand the clear off the hood.Thats what makes it hold its shape,and gives it its strength.The carbon fiber is on a roll like cloth.They put a piece on a mold,and add the clear(resin). By removing the clear,it will lose shape and may become flat,but definately lose its shape.

well it has a clear on the top but the bottom has the rezine on it?

just curious cuz my hood has alot of marks and crap from rocks and it would be neat to PC it like a trans red or somthing
