oil level question..

i just rolled my 05 450r:ermm:

when i got it back the the house i noticed that their wasnt any oil in the clear oil check thing,whats going on here and is it something that i should worry about,cause i really have no clue

Did it have oil before you started your ride? With the 450R's, or any race inspired ATV you need to get in the habit of checking the site glass/dip stick before each ride.

If it laid upside down for awhile it is possible your air box is full of oil...

yeah,i check my oil everytime i go riding,and it was full when i started

with the 450r engine oil burns off everytime u ride so u have to keep adding a little bit at a time, u might have just gotten to low to begin with. which is y it looks like u ran out. i had this same problem before i learned that u need to keep adding oil to the r.

yeah its the 3rd time i rode it,so its not that

but i check my filter and it was covered in oil,so i found my problem

but yah, check your oil everytime before you ride on these 450r's, especially when new, they like to drink a little oil
