Stock vs Hetrick and others pipes?

I know there is a significant amount of power to be gained by going to an aftermarket pipe on a 90 2-stroke, but how much louder are the aftermarket pipes?

All I hear in my head when a two-stroke pipe is discussed is a modded Banshee at the dunes which is a bit much for me.

I have a Hetrick pipe on my son's Kasea 90 and it is quite a bit louder than stock.

Yes id agree they are all pretty loud. I did a DB test on my sons old Kasea with my pipe and it was pretty loud i thought at 99db. I believe they are probably all around the same.

If you don't want a loud pipe then you better stick with stock. Me personally like the sound of the hetrick pipe.

We are running a Hetrick pipe on my boys Polaris 90 and its pretty loud but it sounds good and the performance change is great.

I am just worried about getting into the public parks that limit dbs.

What it boils down to is your bike.
If it's stock then a stock pipe is fine. If your bike is modded, then you know it will not perform like it is supposed to without a aftermarket pipe.
The performance gain of a "pipe only" may be minimal.

We have the Trintiy on our Kasea 50 & it's WAAAAYYYYYYYY lighter than the stocker THATS for sure LOL, as for noise it's a little louder it doesn't bug us though :o I guess that from standing in the staging lines listening to everyone elses mini's so friggin loud you can't hear your own!!! His open class we try to listen to see if he's all the way on the throttle & usually can't hear it czu the others are so loud!!!

I agree though if your just trail riding LEAVE IT STOCK if your racing then change it out!!

I have a Trinity on LilQJ's and a WRH pipe on my sons. The WRH was WAY quite compared to my Daughters but performance from the pipe was superior. Both pipes have been great just ones louder than the other .
