does anyone happen to have the stock gear ratios for a stock 250ex 5speed transmission. i am looking for the ratio's of one that has the automatic clutch (i dont know if they ever came with a manual clutch). i am doing some research on the transmission for a mini baja project i am doing and we want a 5 speed manual and it has to have revers. the motor in the buggy is strictly regulated to 10hp, and we is a 305cc motor, and we are looking for the most efficent gearing transmission to replace the auto one we have now.if anyone has this information that would be awsome as i have searched google for the past 3 hours looking for it and also searched this site.

The top speed is about 50 mph. I would check into a 250x, you can change the gearing to how you want it. Or just get a 300ex.

i dont think you saw what i was doing with this... im not getting a 250ex im just looking for the transmission out of one.. and yes i realize its inside the motor. not a issue for me.
