1)On your 06 450, what did you pay for OTD price ??

2)Also, what the best simple mods to get the best performance out of it w/o a big bore?? I knwo a pipe and good jetting is one.

3)Was there ever any shootouts on which pipe seems to give best gain for the 450r?? Maybe something with lower DB levels?? Im not finding any info on that .

These folks have some of the best prices around. I am from Oklahoma and buying in Missouri I do not have to pay sales tax...so the OTD price would be $5999 for just the ATV.

Sorry QJ, I did not address any other questions...

You already addressed the pipe and jetting...
I would say a big thumbs up to the HRC kit.
I would change the filter for a UNI or K&N.
After that...you are pretty much talking money.
Head would be my next investment followed by a CDI.
Then you are all setup for the last mod of piston or big bore...and race gas.

Do not leave out the suspension...

best hp money can buy, port and polish, cam, jet it right, and pipe it. but the first two are the best! and high comp piston

and ur pipe make it a rossier short can. these are the two best companys on the market.

WE wont be doing ANY motor mods not even head work, not after the last nightmare we had with my ole mans quad. He wants to keep the motor stock for the most part. ;)

I would say $5400 is probably the best price in the nation on a 2006 450ER...I have seen the 05's going for that but not the 06 models...

400exMO...you are in Kansas, click on the link I provided they are in Missouri.

The Rossier short can is like 101dbs without spark arrester. 98/99 dbs with the spark arrester with about 2/10s horsepower loss. You can also add the Yoshi quite core and they gets you as quite as stock, but you lose a couple horse with it. By the way I have a Rossier on my 04 and its awesome!!!!

Whats this DASA pipe like?? I am new to the 450 stuff .
Is there ANY piipe shoot outs ???

I found at more on the price we can get a honda for. Its 6400.00 OTD so I guess that not TOO great but better than the Average?? I could buy over the state line, but I dont want to get stuck paying sales tax or then its about the same I think.
