I ride a 300ex and i want to take the key off and use the kill switch but i tried connecting the kill switch but the nuetral light stays on.

I could be wrong, but I think even with the kill switch mounted properly, and the cord pulled away, the neutral light will still appear, (if in neutral) but should not start. (It may crank over and try to start, but should not).

Or you could just leave it in gear when you shut it off, or even just disconnect the nuetral light
