are dvxs 400 faster then an 04 400ex

i was wanting to know cause i seen one the other day and it looked like it was pretty fast and i know it was bone stock but tommorow im going to go find him and see if he wants to race and i was just wondering if the dvxs have more take off speed and top end and all i have one my quad is a pro curcuit t4 exhaust and a uni air filter

a DVX 400 is exactly the same as a KFX 400 or LTZ 400. in stock form they are faster. stock for stock the dvx will beat you if you are both about hte same riding level. with your pipe and filter it will be close, you will prolly get him off the line and can take him if you hold the lead.

yes, my brother has a DVX and i have a 400.. i can beat him off the line but then he will barely beat me

either way it will be pretty close i have a friend with a Z 400 and its pretty much equal if i can get him off the line i can win the race, if not he will usually get me. It mainly depends on just who is the better rider.
