I was just wondering what rear end you XC guys are running and what your seat height is.

I just put my Axis Houser LT combo on and I think I messed up b/c my seat height is 33" and my the measurements on my bottom frame rails are 10" in the front and 10" in the back.

Later, Josh

I'd think you just need to set your ride height with the preload ring, is that frame height with you on it or not? from what I have always been told the frame to ground dimension should be with the rider standing on the pegs and the suspension "neutralized"

The pre load is set as low as it can go. The frame height was without me on it. Oh well I will just mess around with it. Thanks

I have the Houser Swingarm, LT link and Elka LT shock with Dual rate.

Mine sits higher than stock also, until I sit down on it.

I thought it should sit lower also?

David, I got it all worked out. Thanks for the offer. I love that set up! It does work really really well! I won the A class in the last hillbilly( both motos!) I just wish I would have taken your advice about raising the air box, I ended up breaking mine. I just figured since you ride a lot harder than me I would be ok. I even had a couple guys bounce on it before I raced it and we could not get the air box to hit. I guess racing through breaking bumps and jumping terraces puts a lot more stress on it than I thought. Lesson Learned the lifter kit and a new air box is on the way. Later, and are you racing any hillbillies?...See ya, Josh

in the rear mine is 28" from the ground to the stock grab bar but it is a 400ex

Someone I know has a 450r and it has a rear axis shock on a GT thunder linkage it also had a stock swingarm and when I road it it felt lower than my 400
