yeah thats it. He sent me a picture of his speedo the other day and it was at 70 mph. When I rode on it it was still on its break in period so I didnt get to go that fast.

My fatherinlaw has a 2001 sea doo with a 950cc 2 stroke 130 hp and it dose 70 mph so over 200 hp should go faster if not i bet it gets there alot faster. This one seems realy fast they are a ball to play with but hard as hell on gas.

Go here if you want to see what lies ahead for the future.

I have not modded my engine due to my 5 year warrenty but have worked more on the handling. If you fall off at 70, it's gonna HURT.

The day I brought it home

An old superman photo on my 96 GSX. On my left there is a dam with about a 30 foot drop about 10 feet away.

Like riding a quad on water with no brakes.

The fastest 951cc Doo's for 2001 were the XPL, RX and RXDI. They were all just around 61-62 actual MPH on GPS but 70 mph on the speedo. The RXP is around 67-69ish (GPS) stock depending on build quality and conditions , IE salt vs fresh water, OAT, humidity, barometric pressure and so on.

But it will leap out of the water from an idle. and the superman can be quite excitin at 70.

Supercharged 4 strokes will be the norm in the future due to emissions requirements, etc.

1998 SeaDoo SPX but this one is sold now, piece of crap was always breaking down. I now have a smaller lighter '94 WaveBlaster that jumps higher than the SPX did!!

We have two superjets. A squarenose with a 701 and pipe etc, and a 98 roundnose.

In the past we've had a VXR, a Kawasaki 750ss, a 95 waveblaster.
