I do my own Pc'n and i have new houser a-arms, The powder coat they use is very thick, is this because the clear coat as well as color? and this helps with durability, right? Or maybe the do more than one coating?

Anyway I am just curious because i want to PC my LT arms for my R and i want them to come out like my housers.

Thanks

Pappy

houser is using a 3 stage powder for most of thier parts. a base coat, then thier logo is applied(heat tape i assume) then the color coat, then a clear top coat.

clear will add another layer of durability over your basecoat, wether it be a solid or so on. trans colors are merely tinted clears, and a clear is pure powder with no color additive.
