Where in SoCal can i get more than 91 Octane?

i'm looking to do a higher compression piston... but i can only get 100 octane locally. Local to LA, SGV, OC, Riverside, San Bernardino will do.

Acetone can be found at any hardware store and mixxed correctly can bump octane much more than any BS store bought octane boosters you'll find.

In other words, never buy those octane booster. Buy a quart of Acetone at your local hardware store and mix accordingly,...

i don't want to blow up anything... so i'd rather not mix anything... and i never believed in those additives sold at the autoparts...

i'm looking for a place to buy racing gas... or whatever fuel i need to run the JE 13.1 piston.

Call any of your local cycle shops or any speed shops...they will probably either sell race gas or tell you where you can get it.

I live in Bartlesville, OK and I know of at least 6 places to purchase race gas...has to be at least 60 in your area!

Check your local "76" stations. Some of them carry 100 octane. The one I found it at is in Agoura off of the 101 at the Cheesbro exit. It is about $4.60/gal

yeah... i got a 76 right down the street that has 100 octane... but i think i need a higher octane fuel to run a JE 13.1 of a HH Piston.

YOU COULD LOOK UP A LOCAL VP FUEL DEALER AND RUN C12 OR SOMETHING,OR I THINK SOME SUNCO STATIONS HAVE 100 SOMETHING I FORGET,SOME MOTORCYCLE SHOP SELL TURBO BLUE TOO, AT LEAST AROUND MY AREA.
