05 400ex clutch perch/ not starting in gear

i just put a new clutch perch on my quad and there were 2 wires that plugged into the stock perch and after i unplugged them to put on the new perch the quad wont start in gear. any idea on wat im supposed to do with the wires? ground them? splice them to someother wire or each other? any help would be great

Connect them together, but the quad will be able to start in gear without having to pull in the clutch but i know pulling the clutch in was a habit. hope this helps
