how is the power on the yoshi pipe compared to the rossier? it will be for an 06' and i know there arent systems out for it yet but what were the differences on the 05's. I like the looks of the yoshi pipe alot but from what ive heard the rossier is the top performer and i was just wanting this comparison. Thanks for any input.

I had them both. With my current set up the Yoshi performed better.

Yoshi TRC - 47.74hp / 33.12tq
Rossier - 46.80hp / 31.69tq

That is good to know. I have nothing against rossier, but i have always been a yoshi fan. Especially because of good quality.

Hey Brian,

How did they compare on the bottom end?

They were different set ups. The Rossier used the 13.5 JE and HRC Cam. The Yoshi used the 13.75HH and Hot cam STG2.
The runs are on my site with the items on the quad for each run.

I am changing the set up again with the Baldwin 14.1 and Megacycle X2 cam

Dyno runs will be done on Saturday

if the power is this close then my choice is the yoshi. the looks of that pipe imo is alot nicer than the rossier. thanks alot for the info wpp.

there should be differences between the JE and the HH pistons though too...

alot of ppl have threatened to have some pump gas engine pulls on the dyno. how come there arent any yet?

i know most ppl that buy quads wont put a high comp. piston.

i have read a dyno of a 12.25:1 HH vs a stock bore JE 13:1. the HH had 1-1.5 horsepower more overall and it peaked to 2 horsepower more than the JE at a time. not saying that helped much. just what i read after the dyno...

But i have also read many contraversial posts about the HH piston. why are people knocking that piston? is the reliability of that piston poor? what are the reasons that people dislike the HH?
