My Custom 2005 XC 400ex Pictures

Here are my pics of my 400ex its gone through tons of changes in the last few months and theres a couple things i have left to do. but i love this quad. Lots of stuff i had to make fit such as my 450r calipers with stock 400ex spindles and hubs!

it was smart of you to put those brakes on there
some people dont understand that braking and sudpension and handling is the most important thing on the quad because if you want to go fast you gotta slow down some time especialy in xc racing. And same thing with suspension you got to soak up those bumps with all that power

nice quad though it looks tough

Thats a mean lookin XC quad. What type of supsension set up do you have on the rear?

i have a stock shock thats revalved and dual rate. i just sent out a check to get a actual custom axis rear to match the fronts.

what did you have to do to make the 450R calipers fit? Did you use the stock EX master cylinder? Nice quad.

i modified the conversion brackets that convert a 400ex to 250r calipers. i didnt like how thin the 250r pads were and pappy sold me these nice 450r calipers. so i modified the brakets and they fit up perfect. i used my stock master cylinder and it works perfect great modulation and pads will now last a 100 times longer.

just ordered everything to do the 450r caliper in the rear.

nice quad, just one problem with it. That week DG bumper isn't gonna do the trick. You did the right thing with the PRM skidz, why not the PRM, tree smasher.

the DG bumper on this quad ive owned for many years. its funny but its on there more for my sentimental value then looks
