Yea, like when you do a fair sized jump, the extra pressure on the hubs/studs and stuff .Has anybody tried this out in motox?

Its not the wheel or the hub you should be worried about, its your spindles. I dont know how they hold up though.

Bad Idea Winged Warrior! Can you say bump steer and bent tie rods?

Your rear end is 8" wider than your front?:huh

What you got on there a +4 axle, with wheel spacers and offset rims?:square

they make +6 axles,
I have like a +8 on my 300ex (+4 on my R) and its adjusted to only +6, the 300's front end is stock and it look soo weird.

Winged warrior,
You will bottom out easily, very easily!

Thats three don'ts and one do! What are you going to do about the steel lug nut inserts being on the wrong side of the wheel?

I put the lugs on backwards too, flat side in.Oh yea i added 3 washers on each stud under the rim so the valve stems will clear. Hers a pic of my front ,its still not as wide as my rear(stock axil with 2-2 1/2in spacers).

The tapered part of the lug nut is used to center the stock wheel. The hole is a little oversized to properly center the wheel on the hub with out using the taper lug nut.

Nah, i think flipping the rims on a 250X/300EX helps alot, and is a big improvement. Dont say they dont hold up, ive tested them, lol.

ive had my front wheels reversed for a couple months now... and have had NO problems, no loose bearings or anything. The biggest jump ive hit is a 70+ft double

i have had my rims fliped for a couple of years now and i have never had a problem, i have been racing MX for 2 years, and nothing has bent, broke or any thing, and i have done about everything to my poor fourwheeler

how do you do it with that tapered part of the nut? i didnt understand how to get a round that

Just put the nuts back on with the taper facing toward the outside.

Take the washers out and get THESE (http://www.newstalgiawheel.com/productdetails.asp?productID=812)

I would think by not using wasners you would have a better fit against the hub.

Here's what I did about the tapered lug nut.I work in a machine shop, so I just countersunk the other side of the rims. You have to use a metric countersink though, because the included angle of the taper on the lug nut is 90 degrees. A standard inch countersink included angle is 82 degrees.

Can you say "Ghetto"! Spend $80 on a set of wheels! You can get a pretty big offset and it doesnt look so stupid. Using washers as spacers?? What are you thinking?? If you seen my other threads then youll get this "you guys are "ricers" of the ATV world"!

I would much rather do it myself, (it's not that hard) and save $80.
