I hope someone out there can help with some info, I just put a 13 tooth front sprocket on my 400 and noticed that the retainer clip/plate with the 2 -10mm bolts actually hits the chain as the sprocket rolls around, I had to grind the washer part of the bolts off and grind about 1/16 of material of both ends of the plate and it still is to close for comfort, if I push down on the chain i can make it touch the bolt head so its certainly going to touch under load, my next step is i'm going to get allen head bolts for more clearance and grind a little more of of the plate at each end. I'm just wondering if anyone out there has had this problem. Any info would be greatly appreciated.:D :D :D
