Hey guys im new to the audio thing. Im putting a MTX thunder 8500 series 12" sub in my truck which recomends 500 rms.
Now my ? question is is it ok to run an amp with more rms?
I want to run a Audiobahn A8002T which runs
200 watts RMS x 2 at 4 ohms
400 watts RMS x 2 at 2 ohms
800 watts RMS x 1 at 4 ohms
would it be ok then to run 800 watts rms bridged at 4ohms?
like i said im new and i dont know one thing im talking about but i will learn
