How was moving to va an advantage to you? Only asking because i am considering moving my landscaping/construction business down to NC OR SC.

Ny is just a depressed economy due to the high tax rates. Southern, VA, and points south suffer from a low pay scale. Northern, VA near DC is fed by the Federal Government and that economy remains stable no matter how bad the rest of the US suffers. If the population has money, it just makes life easier.
