i noticed that my axle was really loose. so i took everything off and found out that my bearings were finished and now i put the new bearings in and i still have a lil bit of slack in it and i was wondering if it was supposed to have a lil bit of slack in it.. thanks

there should maby be a little bit did you grease your bearings are the seals and bearings in there right if it is alot of play it might be your carrier or also somthing stupid like if you have the wheels on the hubs could be lose

the bearings and seals are i right and i greased them as much as possible.. i have about an inch of freeplay up and down.. and its not my wheels cause my wheels arent on the bike. the bike is in repairs right now and its on the lift... thanks

ya mine did that and it was my carier so i changed it and it hads no play now

i think i found the problem its my axel nut it keeps coming loose and when i retighten it its fine for a bit then it comes loose again

Try some electrical tape on it.

antifade fixed my axle comming loose problem

i use lock tight but i think i am going to try the elecrical tape next time:rolleyes:
