Accelerator pump on carb..

i don't own a 450r but i have a carb i bought with a accelerator pump. u guys have this pump on your carbs?? what part of the throttle is this pump active for best performance?? now i have mine set for a very short squirt from about 1/8 to 1/4 throttle..

it should spray from 1/8 to 3/4 throttle depending on fuel demand. Does your bike have a hesitation off idle? if so you need to lengthen the squirt.

I have an 06 450er and it's got a hesitation when you get on the gas fast or hard. Taking it back to the dealer again to get this fixed, I'm wondering if it maybe the acc. pump jet?
Anyone else having this problem with their 06's?

if i set my pump active from 1/8 to 3/4 throttle, will i have to lean my needle a bit??
