I was thinking about buying a psp and don't know if it's worth it. Do you guys regret buying one or do you think it's worth the money?

If you could play regular ps2 games and dvd's on it i'd buy it. But you can't...so I won't.

my firend has a PSP and our science teacher is dumb enough to let him use it when we're not doing anything. If only he knew that we were watching porn on it. but IMO, its a waste of money

please explain to me how iPods are a waste of money???

I have a 30gig photo with 6,000 songs on it - around 400 CD's. Please show me a portable device that does it as well as an iPod.

Not a waste of $$ at all. I couldnt even begin to count all of times in which mine has paid off. Granted it is a little pricey, but if you are going to use it more than once a week then it is well worth it. Also will be capatible with the PS3 when it finally comes out.

Thanks for all the info guys. I would probably use it more than once a week because I just got knee surgery and have alot of free time in the next three months that I have to be on crutches

nah, I've had ipod's for awhile... never had a problem - proper care and they go a long ways...

...and my library does not just reside on my ipod...I have a 250gig backup hard drive as well as a 200 gig USB drive. If it every cuts out, I'll just reload.

I agree.

I hate when people say the Ipod is a waste. It was the greatest invention since slice bread.

There is a reason why they sold millions of them.

farthest thing from the truth. iPods work on ALL computers....and iTunes (used to load songs) is probably the best program out there to load MP3's.

i guess the only thing i could argue about is the ipod mini cause its the only one i have taken apart and im not an engineer but they are designed so poorly held together with dabs of glue and tape.

They arent very reliable (mini's atleast) and the batteries dont please me either.

I wouldnt buy one, id get an iriver...

when are you going to need them?.... probably after you HAVE a device that holds that many.

Nothing like doing a huge shuffle with 6,000 songs.... or even being able to make a quick mix while your on the road with over 400 CD's in the palm of your hand.

You'll have to hook it up to your computer to change songs, where I have EVERYTHING already loaded. The only time I have to hook mine up to a PC is when I buy a new CD.

I have a Mp3 cd player that holds about 135 songs on one cd. They get old quick.

iTunes will import ANY MP3 into your library - regardless of where you get the files. Just direct iTunes to your music folder.

The iPod will come with a USB interface cable to attach it to your computer.
