My chain and rear sprocket look like crap so i want to replace them this winter. How hard is it, and what will i need to do to get the chain and the rear sprocket off? What kind of special tools will i need to remove them and put new ones on? What brand should i get? Ive heard alot about sidewinder.

thanks!

If it's the stock chain you'll either need a chain breaker or grind the pins off a link to remove it. No other special tools needed, fairly easy job to do. Be sure to rplace the front sprocket too.

The hub nut is a 27mm. Yea, the cotter pin can be a pain especially if the hub turned a bit. It is sometimes easier to just cut it at the bend then pull the pieces out.
