Here is my crf450/400ex hybrid when I brought it home minus the rear rims and tires... Since I have done the following updates and the finished product will be pictures in the posts to follow as I don't know how to combine them....

Let me know what you think... mostly set up for wide open desert racing and chaser duty for the race team throughout Baja and the assorted Vegas to Reno style races...

top mount is hard to see, but I used some 1/8 galvanized flat stock and made a "L" bracked adn secured it to a tab welded on the frame. Used a step bit to drill a 1" hole for the rubber mount.

on that intake, does it flow well. I want to do that conversion but I don't feel like cutting out the frame and swinger back there. What'd you do to run it like that?

I can't claim the mod for the intake... it was that way when I bought the quad. Seems to flow really well though. Another way would be to have someone that's really good with fiberglass or carbon fiber and have them make a boot or sleeve for you.

I have an LSR AirBox...Fits OEM..and on the 400ex/YZ426 swap I had a stock 400ex box W/ Stock 400ex Boot...
