View Full Version : installing CRF450 timing chain...goin good

Well im getting ready to take clutch basket off. Then im going to remove the 2 primary gears, then chain should slip off, and just slip on the CRF? Put at TDC according to T on flywehel, line up chain on the camshaft with each divit lined up horizontally, put on new gasket and fill her up with oil correct? Motor is all stock.
Any adjustments to be made? What are torque specs?

NO! rotate the last fiber a little to the left or the right and put it in the other groove.
